Validation and testing in practice

Striving for quality

In our pursuit of quality, we have done various scientific studies with our instruments and optimized them accordingly over time.

To measure is to know

In various collaborations with renowned institutions such as the RUG, TNO and the Leeuwendaal Institute, we investigated the validity of our analyses and their practical value.

Validation studies and COTAN assessment

In the period 2016-2021, the University of Groningen validated the Profile Dynamics driver questionnaire in an extensive study involving a total of 1688 participants, and it was assessed by the COTAN.

What is Personal Profiler®?

TNO came to the conclusion that Profile Dynamics drives can be used to predict whether people will embrace or reject an important change such as remote work.

And that is important for organizations that first invested a lot in hybrid working and are now considering letting their employees come back to the office.

With knowledge of the local driving culture, organizations can therefore make decisions that are better countries and are more effective.

The personal characteristics of the BIG-5, which was also included in the study, did not or hardly predict HNW behavior.

The study was conducted in 23 organizations (profit and non-profit) among 1,691 participants.

One out of three is positive

In the average profile of all respondents, yellow and orange accounted for 32% of the drivers, i.e. around 1/3. People with a preference for these drivers are positive about HNW and actually use HNW facilities.

The average score on the purple and blue drivers was 28% of the total. People with a preference for these drivers are negative about HNW and make less or hardly any use of HNW facilities.

Drivers that are less pronounced or neutral about HWN and use the facilities moderately to moderately (red, green, and turquoise) account for 40% of the total.

15 years of validation research

And we're going to keep going! We are working on additional validation research and on research about the role of motives in specific employment issues. This is why we employ a researcher, Burkhard Wörtler, who has a PhD in the field of work psychology.
