Scientific view of people and work

Motivation is the key to performance
McClelland already demonstrated it in the 1980s and has since been confirmed in many more studies. People's motivation is very decisive for their performance at work and says more about (future) functioning than intelligence or performance elsewhere.
The environment matters
One situation isn't the same and people don't react the same way everywhere. It is the dynamic between people and the environment that determines whether people come into their own in their work.
Nuanced & dynamic
No two people are the same and we therefore believe that people do not belong 'in a pigeon'.
Our instruments are fine-grained - no two profiles are the same - and do justice to the dynamics between the drives (internal) and those between people and the environment (external).

Validation and Research
In our commitment to quality, we have carried out validation studies in collaboration with the University of Groningen, which have also been positively received by the independent COTAN committee.
TNO previously showed, in a major study in 2014, that our motives are good at predicting how people will or will not go along with new developments such as flexible and remote work.
